Celebrating Fall

I loved this post by Kelle Hampton on 20 Ways to Celebrate Fall - reading through her list inspired a super fun Fall Slow Day for us which I will be sharing over this next week!

This also prompted me to come up with my own list of my favorite ways to celebrate Fall:

1. Have an Anne marathon and fun food plus cutting the first beauty berries of the season! This is usually our Fall Kick-Off over Labor Day weekend!

2. Picnics!

3. Picking apples and making applesauce.

4. Pumpkin Farm

5. Goldenrod and other flowers from the side of the road.

6. Leaves!

7. Fall Crafting

8. Wearing Layers and cooler temps! Enjoy even little patches of cool and celebrate where we can!

9. Fires in our back yard!

10. Fall Breakfasts! Pumpkin Waffles, Apple Cider Cinnamon Rolls, Pumpkin French Toast

11. Thankful for You breakfast

12. Nature walks

13. Chili and Soup

14. Plaids

15. Quilts

16. Fall picture books.

18. Harvest Parties

19. Celebrating Emily

20. Everything COZY!

What would be on your Favorites of Fall list?!

Your friends are lucky to have you Monica. Loved all your pictures. My favorite is pumpkin spice candles, apples, pumpkins and just the colors:)

Great list and great photos! I love that you included celebrating Emily's birthday in your fall list. :)

The things we've looked forward to (that we've already done!) are chili, fire in the fireplace, pumpkin farm, and taking a drive to see the fall colors.

Happy fall! :)

I haven't been to pick apples in a few years since my husbands uncle brings us fresh apples. I've made apple pies & cobblers & put pies in the freezer. Love that! Love to see the golden Rod & black eyed Susans by the roads. Love the cotton fields & peanuts and seeing and hearing the tractors of the farmers busy. PUMPKINS everywhere & mums everywhere AND PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING YOU LISTED!! Lol! Love! Oh and I like to take my apple peelings, cores & spices and let them simmer in water in my crock pot too.
