Vintage Camping

While Emily was at camp, my Mom, Samuel, Rachel and I had fun taking a little excursion ourselves! My Mom found this adorable and sort of junky little vintage camping spot! We rented this cute 1963 Shasta trailer and what fun memories we made together!!!

Enjoy the photo journal of our time! We also went to Royal Gorge Bridge {which you could see from the campground playground} and I'll share about that next week!

I love this. You rented the Rambler, too? my parents had a Rambler in that era. When they moved from Virginia to Maryland, I sat in my little rocking chair in the back of the Rambler.

No. Way!!! I can't stand the cuteness! This is FUN!!

I've been loving your recent summer camp posts. I should shoot you an email soon...this is also our stage of parenting (ages 9-12 right now). It's all new for us. Sometimes I feel like I'm just testing the pre-teen waters, and then other days I feel like I've been thrown into the deep end.

Do you have a potato soup recipe? I've been making one all these years and I could have sworn I got it off of your blog, but I can't find it. We are vacationing and my son requested it for his b-day dinner tomorrow. Unfortunately, the recipe is home in my recipe file. :(
