Bottle Valentine

Here is another idea featured in the February Country Home magazine. Use an empty bottle and cork to create a "message in a bottle" valentine! I put paper hearts in first (punched out with a heart shape hole punch) and then wrote my note on a piece of parchment looking paper. I rolled it up and tied it with a bow. I left one end of the bow really long to draw it out through the top so the note isn't too hard to get out. Put a cork in and tie a tag on the outside! This will be David's surprise Valentine at work this year!

Cute idea! Also, thanks for the link for the Valentine coloring papers, my kiddos are having coloring them for Daddy and their grandparents.
Hope you have a great week!!
P.S. How is Baby Samuel?

DOH! Babe, you need to let me know next time not to read your blog until after the surprise has been given :) Sorry! Guess you will just have to give that gift to me then think of another "surprise" :P

These ideas are all beautiful! My son's birthday is the 13th and mine is the 14th...I was needing some encouraging/easy decorating ideas!
