Memo Boards

You'll read more about the whole evening on Monday - but last weekend, I invited a few young ladies over from church to have dinner and craft! Two of them had pinned this magnetic memo board idea - so I suggested we make these!

Start with a metal cookie sheet, fabric, ribbon, buttons, magnets and hot glue! It was a fairly simple project - depending on the shape of your cookie sheet! I tried poking holes in mine to hang the ribbon through - but that was definitely a no-go.

Did you see Ian and Larissa's video recently? I watched it and was so moved by their story. I found them on my mind frequently in the hours and days following. But, when you watch their video - the Gratitude board is ah-mazing. I was so inspired by that!

Since I already log my gratitude in a journal, I decided to make this more of things I want to tell David thank you for or things I'm thankful for about him. So, I'm going to hang this in our room by his sink area and look for ways to add notes often.

Here are the boards made by my lovely crafty companions!

I was inspired by their gratitude board as well... So precious. Your board is so cute, and I love the button magnets. I might have to copy that idea.

We have talked about having a Pinterest get together! This looks like it would be a great project for everyone to work on. Thank you for sharing! I haven't seen that video yet, guess I should take the time to watch it...
