I am not a salesperson, not one who likes to pressure or feel pressured. I promise I will never get pushy about this here on my blog. But, I would like to share with you what I'm involved in doing and share these things that God has laid on my heart. I do love home, God's Word and bringing beauty and His Word together into my home. And, I love sharing these things with others. That's where Blessings comes in.
I consider this a ministry - I did not sign up because of the money. I signed up because I love their products and wanted an opportunity to earn some things to use in my own home, share these things I love with others and have an opportunity to share with others about bringing God into our homes. I also believe that God is going to use this process to grow me in some areas that I struggle in and plan to bring my girls with me in an effort to begin teaching them some of these things and some entrepreneurial skills that will serve them in the future.
Once a month - I'm going to post a few thoughts about home that have been on my mind with a link to the Blessings catalog. If you are looking for beautiful and quality products with powerful messages - I hope you will take a minute to visit.
The day after I signed on to this opportunity, I was reading in Proverbs 24 - and a few verses jumped out at me in relation to our homes.
Proverbs 24:3-4,
"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."
"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."
We instantly see how our homes can be built in the ways of God and to be pleasing unto Him. By seeking wisdom, understanding and knowledge of Him and His Word.
Now, look at verses 30-34,
I want to live in a home that is flourishing with blessing. Which means, I'm going to have to invest myself there and give wholeheartedly.
Now, look at verses 30-34,
"I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw: A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest - and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man."
I want to live in a home that is flourishing with blessing. Which means, I'm going to have to invest myself there and give wholeheartedly.
Now, how about something fun?

I may be intrested in hosting an online gathering.. that sounds fun!
One of my biggest blessings right now ~ simply is knowing I am a child of God, and no matter how sticky or stinky they day gets, a cool breath of fresh air always rolls in just in the nick of time.
I've never heard of this company. Sounds neat! My blessing this morning has been snuggling with my sweet baby, even if he did wake ip waaaaaay too early!
what beautiful products! I'm blessed that friends are letting us borrow snowsuits for my boys - one less thing to have to buy this year!
I am blessed with the ability to stay home with my sweet boys :)
It may seem a small blessing to others, but it is big to me -- our elderly dog almost did not survive an illness last Thanksgiving. He is happy and healthy (for an almost 15 year old dog) this year.
Beautiful products! I look forward to seeing you highlight more of them on your blog.
A blessing to me - time is a wonderful healer. After recently losing a child, I am grateful that God's grace and His time are both unbelievable gifts.
Blessings to you all!
I love the tote! My blessing today is I'm starting my first day of work at a new job. God has been my faithful companion during my unemployment journey of over 2 years. He is awesome!
I am blessed to have sweet, like-minded friends who love us no matter what and pitch in to help whenever help is needed.
Things around here have been a little rough lately since my hubby has been working from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 or 10:00 p.m. every day except Sunday... The blessing is, #1 I'm glad he has a job; #2 We have some hospital bills that need to be paid (I just had a baby girl.) so the overtime is needed; #3 My 3-year-old has been such a help to me and is such a big boy; #4 My parents live about 4 miles from us, so we get to see them a lot and they are a great help to me when hubby isn't around; #5 My baby girl is very laid-back and seems to be a very happy baby... I could go on... I am SO BLESSED! Even when things are tough, I am blessed!
We just brought our newborn daughter home from the hospital yesterday - a huge blessing for sure!
I have never heard of this company...sounds very interesting. My greatest blessing right now is watching as my children grow in their love of the Lord!
Our blessing is that after many years, God is restoring our family:)!
Thank you for entering me.
This sounds like a nice company:) I never have much extra cash but I don't mind hearing about the company or what's going on:) I'm glad you'll share it on your blog;)

This company is new to me, I will definetely find out more info. For now, my biggest blessings are my children with one on the way! So many opportunities and choices each day as I train these children for the Lord. That is why your blog is such an encouragement...keeping home Christ-centered. Side note: I found "Don't make me count to three" on a discount book table. I remember the title from your blog. The book is refreshing as it has truly helpful ideas that are Bible-based. It is challenging my thinking in the way I handle the issues of each day. thanks for the recommendation and today's giveaway!
I'm blessed this morning with a fire in the fireplace, cozy socks on my feet, and wonderful children that I can homeschool with in the living room.
congrats on your new journey Monica. The products are fantastic, i really love that lazy susan. I can see that getting a lot of use at our home.
So much to be grateful for: A very healthy family, a future full of hope, A loving church family, sunshine, sweet children, loving husband, the list goes on and on....
A blessing I am thanking God for right now is Heaven. My son just celebrated his 3rd birthday there on Thanksgiving.
I am also interested in hosting an online gathering!
I'm glad God has given you a peace about joining the company, and is using you to share about him.
I am blessed by hearing my son starting to show understanding of the REAL meaning of Christmas!
I'd love to win this! One of my current blessings is that my husband stayed up late last night to help me to clean our very messy kitchen (and I didn't even ask him) so I didn't have to do it when I woke up this morning.
Love so many things.
Blessed to be a child of the King!

Monica, this tote bag is so "happy" looking! So bright and ready to fill with all kinds of goodies! My biggest blessing right now is being a Titus2 Mom to Willa. She is not my biological daughter, but she sure makes a super special biblical one! I love Blessings products! Thanks for sharing.
My blessings are my godly husband and 2 grown sons!
I have been feeling so blessed lately that it is hard to pick just one! The Lord's provision amazes me over and over!!
A beautiful blessing in my life is the ability to educate my children at home....I pray I always have that freedom. I like the ability to nurture and raise them, protected from the world! :)
Thanks for the chance Monica and best of luck with your business! :)
I have been so blessed lately to see God's direction in our lives. We still can't see the end of the journey, but we can see the path being laid out for us.
Good for you - on deciding to be a consultant for Blessings Unlimited.
I'll have to keep it in mind for an online Gathering...sounds like that might be fun.
I just want to say that these verses really blessed me this morning - as well as your thoughts regarding them. I can so relate to what you shared. Also, I think of this often... If it wasn't me stumbling across your blog - back in the day - I might not be blogging today. Yours was the first I found, fell in love and have been so inspired since. God is using you to be a blessing. I think it's really neat the path your on and how He is leading you. ;) This new "business" will definitly be a ministry... and I think you'll in turn be blessed.
I just received a blessing...my mother-in-law bought us a new stove and I was able to sell our "old" stove and get money for Christmas gifts! God is just so good to us!

The way God reveals Himself through my daughter is a blessing to me!
So excited for this new opportunity/ministry you are taking on! Love how you are approaching it! I had never heard of this company until you mentioned it.
I am blessed to have my husband home with our family right now!
(How neat is this?!...my word verification for this comment is "heavens"!! *Psalm 19:1*)
the sound of my son playing Away in the Manger on the piano...what could be more precious!
My blessing is that I do Family Childcare in my home which I have been doing for over thirty years and even though I only have one child now I fell blessed to be able to do it while I wait for the economy to pick up. I also have a great family and friends. Susan
One great blessing to our family is that my DIL is expecting a baby in April. She and my son were told after testing that it was unlikely that they could have a child. But, God over-ruled!
Cute bag!
I'll have to talk to you more about the Gathering thing, but it sounds like a neat opportunity to support you and learn more about BU.
Oops, I forgot the blessing part! I am thankful for a warm house now that winter has arrived!
I am blessed to be able to stay home with my kids and homeschool them. brian amy 10 at hotmail dot com
Congratulations Monica! I hope you enjoy your new venture. I had never heard of Blessings Unlimited before- thanks for sharing it. The merchandise is beautiful.
I feel very blessed right now just being able to live the life that I do - with my health, family & friends, plenty of food on the table and a roof over my head.
I wish you were closer. I love an excuse to have ladies over, and blessing friends who sell things. This would be an AWESOME party!
Our whole family has been blessed with health! Earlier this week I was talking with a neighbor lady who's husband is/has been very ill and in and out of the hospital, and was reminded that I need to be extra thankful for such a wonderful blessing as health.
