Slowing Spring: Day 6

Scripture:
* Matthew 13:3-9, "Then he told them many things in parables, saying: 'A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop - a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. He who has ears let him hear.'"

- Do a soil test on your own heart this morning, where are you right now?
- Do you have weeds in the garden of your heart that need to be removed?
- Talk to your Heavenly Gardener this morning about what you are processing.

I've been enjoying these posts about slowing spring, though in my season of life, slowing is not as needed as it is in the season you're in. The photos are beautiful, the Scriptures uplifting, and good ideas for cultivating beauty.

Barbara brought me some tea cookies from England, so I've brought those to KC with me and plan to take a tea party to Grandma in the care center later in the week, hopefully when the aunties can be there, too. :)
