Slow Day

From several slow scenes lately ...

Mother's Day craft via Joanna Gaines' blog

My girls have long loved to play outside making "salads" - this is the one they made me!

Crocheting on the porch swing - still working on my shawl, it is teeny so far and I don't know why I'm taking so long to finish it!!!

Making their own paint from sidewalk chalk!

Can't get enough of the toothless smiles!!!!

Camping out in the back yard - swoony childhood memories.

I'm sure you remember that you and Carrie used to make "salads" too! Glad you are making camping memories with your family - those are some of my favorite memories from your growing up years. :) Great photos! Love you!

Monica, your painting is so pretty, and it reminds me of a Gracelaced print!

Fun about the salads. My girls were making stew yesterday in various plastic bowls. They were out there for over an hour, which is a long time for my kids! =)

My girls love to make beautiful plates of "food" with whatever nature things they find in the yard too. Inspired by Food Network! I love little girls.
