Slow: Quiet Start

When you wake up in mid-April in the deep South and it is 59 and you love gray, chilly days - you grab a quilt, cup of tea, candle and book and head for the porch to make just a moment of it yours. To let it seep into your soul and just enjoy.

The best part of my morning was that when I wandered out, David followed and then as they woke the girls meandered out as well. We began our morning on the porch with blankets, quilts, hot tea and a candle. We listened to and watched birds, talked about nothing big but everything simple and small.

And as they moseyed back in the house, I stayed put while Emily fixed breakfast {an assignment I'd given the day before} it was g.l.o.r.i.o.u.s.

For curious minds:
Drinking: mint tea made from mint leaves grown in our garden
Reading: Restless
Emily fixed: French Toast and Bacon

Ahhhh looks lovely. I love mint tea:) We have a tea up our way called Meadow tea and it is so refreshing and delish (its made with mint leaves too). To have breakfast cooked by someone else other than me would be glorious. One day hopefully.

I love sitting out in the early morning! Thank you! I'm one of those curious minds. I always have questions about the pictures. :-) Have a God-blessed, God-breathed, God-inspiring week with your "littles."
