Daffodil Farm

Last Friday was the first day the local Daffodil Farm was open for picking. We were close by and met some sweet friends to enjoy a spring-y activity! What fun!

Rachel wore her favorite hat - she wears it everywhere!

Daffodils are such a sweet simple pleasure!

I love Daffodils & tulips:) Just reminds me of new after winter, I wish we had places like that in PA. Maybe today I will go to Produce Junction and get some tulips. Amazing how fresh flowers give you a lift.

There is something special about seeing the Daffodils and Tulips reappear after winter. Looks like your girls had fun picking them.

Your photos are great! I can see your photography skills growing. And what fun it was to watch the girls picking and admiring God's creation.

Love these great photos and the reminder that spring is coming (especially nice after receiving heavy snow here yesterday!) -- love those sweet faces! :) Love, Mom

I love daffodils! They are by far my favorite flower ... well, besides daisies and sunflowers and ... I'm so jealous that you're already able to pick them. Despite it being a very mild winter in Ohio, they haven't even thought about peeking out of the ground yet. Maybe by April...

How fun! I love the idea of a Daffodil farm. You're right...very spring-y. And I saw some cute toes peeking out of sandals. *sigh* We've got many more months before it is sandal weather here. Happy Weekend!

Those are really cute photos. Daffodils are such beautiful, happy flowers, too. Will you go back for some more later in the season? Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)

Thanks for the great photos, Monica. Beautiful daffodils and beautiful girls. Love that you could do this already. Spring does come early in the South, doesn't it? Glad you had such a nice outing.
Love you, Grandma

Wow, being from Illinois, I never knew there were places like upick daffodil farms. How wonderful!! How much do they charge? Any other flower farms by you?

Not only are the flowers beautiful but so are your daughters. I love that they are wearing spring clothes and no coats. Spring is already in your neck of the world. Great photos.

My daffodils are showing their stems very early this year. So nice to see your pics of all of them in full bloom.
Rachel probably has a sensory preference for something close to her head. For awhile, my son slept with a nightcap on. I recently realized that I am much more comfortable when I have a snug fitting tank or cami under my shirts/sweaters.

I love daffodils. I never heard of a daffodil farm.
It will be about two months until we see daffodils where I live so it was especially nice to see all those daffodils this morning.

Daffodils are my favorite flower!! A little girl at church brought me daffodils from the daffodil farm when she was in my Sunday School class. She told her mom that they were Mrs. Dawn's favorite flower. I thought that was the sweetest thing!!

Hi Erin: They are 20 cents per stem :) I am not aware of any other flower farms, what a charming idea!
