Twine Candle Holders

I saw this idea in the latest issue of Country Living and knew I wanted to try it! I especially wanted to try it in my Giving Thanks jars ~ I have shared about these before, but they are just so wonderful and beautiful I am sharing them again!

I love that you can make it say Thanks Giving or Giving Thanks and I fill them with different things and leave them out all year. You can frequently find twine at the dollar store - I found this twine at Wal-Mart, and stacked two on top of each other with a beeswax taper!

Here's how mine look right now - all ready for the Thanksgiving table!

It is adorable, but could the twine be a fire hazard once the candles burn down?

Cute! Thanks for the tip on the twine. I just looked for some at the craft store and it was way expensive so I thought I would just have to use something else! I'll have to look at Walmart/dollar store!
