Scripture Adventures: Give Thanks

Have you ever heard of Scripture Adventures? I've known about them for a while and have been on their e-mail list. But, I'd never purchased anything until a few days ago.

I bought this Thanksgiving study to enjoy over the next few years around Thanksgiving. It looks like the kind of thing that we can grow with for a while considering we're still on the young side of things.

This study includes Thanksgiving history, poems, hymns, projects and recipes! As I've printed my copy off - I've been excited to get started! And, imagine that I'll enjoy this as much as my children will! We started on Wednesday and have had fun already!

You can go here to download sample pages from the Give Thanks study. The study is only $7 and you download and print it out at your own convenience.

I'm excited to see that they also have a study for Advent, Easter and things we could use for Bible during our homeschool time. Lots to explore here.

I wrote Scripture Adventures and asked if they'd be willing to host a giveaway to one of you and they graciously agreed to give the Give Thanks study to two of you!

If you'd like to win a copy - please leave a comment on this post letting me know which study looks most interesting to you. Become a fan of Scripture Adventures on Facebook for a second entry - come back here and let me know you liked them. Comments will be open until Saturday November 12th at 10pm EST.

Disclaimer: I bought my own copy of Give Thanks from Scripture Adventures and loved it and thought you would too. So, I asked them if they'd be willing to host the giveaway. I'm not receiving any compensation and all opinions are my own.

Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday! I would LOVE to do this unit study with my kids!!!!! Even though we don't home school.... we still do a lot at home (especial on holidays). I'm a firm believer that learning is a LIFELONG event... not just at school so I really enjoy doing things like this with my kids. Just FYI... I'm a home school graduate myself... God just had different plans for my kids....

Thank you for sharing - I've never heard of them! I would love the Advent one (and may buy that one!) I also like the Acts one - my oldest daughter and I are in an Acts study together and it would be wonderful to have that to go along with it for my younger munchkins.

I think the Thanksgiving one would be great, because we don't have many books on it. What a great addition to your home!

I'd most love the Thanksgiving study - I'm really trying hard to focus on it this year, and not just skip straight to Christmas this year :)

Thanks for the opportunity!

This is new to me, thanks for sharing!! I am most interested in Thanksgiving or Easter. We have fewer books for these times of year and it seems more difficult to find resources. Thanks!

The Easter Scripture Adventure is my preference. Easter is a bit hard for my little ones to wrap their head around so I'm always looking for new ways to help them understand :)

As a kindergarten teacher at a Christian school, I love to add to our Thanksgiving lessons. What better way than to talk with the students about what God says about thankfulness. We have enjoyed learning more about Squanto this year.

I'm not familiar with Scripture Adventures, but I love anything that helps us focus on gratitude and giving thanks.

I gravitated toward the Teachings of Jesus series, since we already have materials/traditions to use during the religous holidays.
