Hamburger Cookies

Did you ever make these when you were a kid? We did!!! I remember requesting them for all sorts of things like my birthday treats to take to school! I recently remembered these and wanted to make them - so over Christmas, we took a snowy morning and made something yummy and fun!

These are great because little hands can make them!

Place vanilla wafers flat side up on a cookie sheet. Top with a peppermint patty (often on sale at Walgreens for around $1/box) and slide into oven just until mints get slightly melty. Sprinkle on green tinted coconut and top with a second vanilla wafer. Dip your finger in water and rub on top of cookies to sprinkle with sesame seeds!

Have fun eating them!!!!

Cute!!! I made a taco salad cake one time and it was so funny.

It definitely looked like taco salad--it had chocolate chips for meat, yellow coconut for cheese, strawberries (diced) for tomatoes,

cool whip for the sour cream--I think I used green frosting to pipe lettuce.
