Easy Cheesy Bread

I love making this cheese bread when I am in a pinch for time and need something quick! It's also a great way to use up leftover hot dog buns!

Start by splitting hot dog buns apart. Lay on a baking sheet and spread with a thin layer of butter. Next, spread with a thin layer of mayo and sprinkle with your favorite garlic seasoning. Top with shredded cheese and slip into oven until cheese is melted and starting to brown!

Looks delish, and easy. We always have at least two-four leftover hotdog rolls that get thrown back into the freezer but get forgotten about the next time that dogs are on the menu. I'll have to try this.

We do this, too!! Left over buns of all kinds (or when I can buy buns marked down) make great garlic bread! The kids love them and they are fast and easy to make.

my mom used to use hotdog buns for garlic bread. They are always light and fluffy. Yummy!!

You just gave me a good reason to buy those cheap hotdog buns! LOL I bet that same stuff would be good on left over homemade Amish bread too.

Yep this is good. We use our toaster oven for things like this so we don't heat up the whole house on hot days.

Finally something to use leftover hotdog buns for. I always feel like half the pack goes wasted or gets fed to the birds at the park. Thanks for this quick recipe

OOOH Monica! I love cheese! Sadly though, it doesn't love me. I do however love your ingenuity and plan on making garlic/cheese bread like this next time we have spaghetti.
Thanks for sharing.

Delicious! I made these for snack today with our leftover hot dog buns. We rarely eat hot dogs but we had them this weekend end while enjoying some pre-season football. I always have leftover buns that I end up throwing away. Thanks for the great idea!

Great idea for the hotdog buns. I usually make bread crumbs with mine & I am over run with them right now.

Ohhh, perfect!!! My family loves cheesy bread and it's expensive if you buy it as Texas Toast. I just happen to have a few hot dog buns leftover....

Oh my goodness!! I did something similar to this last week, only I didn't use mayo. It was so good though, I might need a nine o'clock snack!!

I buy day-old hot dog buns for a discounted price and freeze them for this purpose! I haven't added mayo, but it sounds like it would make for a tastier garlic bun. Thanks!
