Wow! Great job!
I have a 50 cent coupon for frenchs onions, how can I get them for that cheap?
Walgreens has French's Onions on sale for 0.99 a can this week (clip the coupon in the ad). Then, use your 0.50 coupon and your total will be 0.49 per can!
Monica,
You are amazing with these deals!
Monica -
Here's a couple CVS questions...please keep in mind that I don't "do" the extra bucks, but am seriously considering it, so if the answers are obvious, please forgive me...
When you've accumulated some ecb's, do they automatically get applied toward the next purchase, or do you have to tell the cashier you're using them?
Also, is your ecb balance indicated somewhere on the receipt?
It seems very daunting to someone just starting out...
Thanks for your help!
Great bargains! And you especially gotta love it when you get CHOCOLATE on sale! Hee hee! :)
Great buys! I did the Walgreens thing yesterday. I was smiling all the way to the car! :)
Chrissy,
The Extra Bucks print out at the bottom of your receipt. Each offer prints as one coupon. For example, I mentioned getting $3 for the Hershey's candy - so there is a $3.00 Extra Bucks coupon for that offer. Then a dotted line and the next one, etc...
Each ECB is good for one month from the day you earn it. And, as long as your purchase equals more than the ECB (s) you are using - you can apply multiple rewards to your next purchase. You spend these like coupons so to speak.
Yesterday I used $7.50 in Extra Bucks - but it was in the form of three coupons, one for $5, one for $2 and one for $0.50. You just hand them to the cashier like cash.
All of this means that you do not have a balance on your receipt, you just have these coupons that you can spend.
I know it seems tricky at the beginning - I stayed away from CVS deals for a long time for the same reason - but now it is coming much easier.
A great way to start might be to pick one deal and go for that. Earn your Extra Bucks and apply them to one deal the next week. Then as you get more comfortable, you can increase.
Please let me know if this did not help! I could always take pictures of my Extra Bucks and explain it that way! :)
