It stood out to me that this was Father Tim's answering machine message:"Persevere in prayer, with mind awake and thankful heart. This is the office of the Lord's Chapel. Please leave a message at the sound of the tone."
Isn't that great? I love the simple ways of surrounding ourselves with Scripture ~ new recordings on our answering machines anyone? Let me know what you come up with!

What a neat answering machine message ~ clear, concise, and right to the point. I like that!
I like this idea, especially as Leah said-it is concise. I've had friends who basically preached a sermon on their answering machines and while it can be a great witnessing tool, it was also quite annoying when calling and needing to quickly leave a message. But I like Father Tim's version.:-)
We just got a new machine. I wonder if I can think of something short and sweet... Hmmm... thanks for the idea.
