Tea Time

Hello friends! It's been a while and I wanted to pop in and catch up a bit - wish I could pour you a cup of tea and have a little chat in person but this will have to do for now.

Anytime it is below 60 degrees, we eagerly grab a light blanket or jacket and a cup of something warm and head outside! This tray was one Saturday morning and Emily and I enjoyed a slow lingering time of just sitting and sipping.

I'm not even really sure what direction this post will take - but I'll just go with it! Rachel started school this week at the same Classical Christian school that Emily started at in early 2021. School has been a rough thing for us in the past year, but God is good and I'm grateful for how is leading and working in each of our children. It is definitely humbling to be on a path and then change mid-stream for the second year in a row - but He has good plans for that as well.

So we are definitely in a season of transition. With three teenagers, life feels very different now than it used to. Both girls babysit and Emily has a part-time job. I'm working part-time. All good things, just all different things.

I miss being more intentional and consistent in this space - but most of the time, I don't really feel inspired to share or know what to post about! So, I will continue to post when I can or when I have something to share!

Next week I will share about our Fall break in the mountains! A lovely opportunity to slow down and recharge.

How lovely to have a cozy tea time on the porch! It looks like Scout was content to join in. Praying for all of you during this time of transition!
