Easter Sunday

What a sweet day! I will enjoy remembering this day in years to come and how different it was, yet still how special.

Our church reached out to the local drive-in movie theater and they graciously allowed us to have drive-in Easter services there listening to the audio over our radio! It was so fun to hear all the cars honking in response to things the pastor shared! And to be together even though apart, what a beautiful way to celebrate Easter quarantine-style.

Then at home, we enjoyed a lovely meal on our screened-in porch! A friend who has chickens brought me the most lovely eggs in all the beautiful shades - I had so much fun deciding how to display them! After dinner, we had an egg hunt and yummy dessert.

Such a special day!

Those eggs are beautiful, and so is your table! I'm so glad the kiddos aren't too grown up for egg hunts. :) And what a great idea for your church to hold Easter services at the drive-in movie. I can just hear the horns honking, and I'm sure everyone was glad to see each other even if it was from your cars.

What a beautiful Easter celebration. We had a drive-in church service as well and it was a blast! Easter was still special this year, even if it looked different. God Bless
