Slow Sunday
A cozy Sunday morning was the perfect day to eat outside and spend a lot of time on our porch! Canned cinnamon rolls were a quick and easy breakfast.
I was so excited that a couple of sunflowers David planted this summer are getting ready to bloom! I love sunflowers!
Continuing with porch time, I fixed a big salad bar lunch! Side note: we love this meal! Bowls of grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese, black beans, veggies, corn chips and whatever else you like and everyone builds their own!
Rachel had fun building little mud pies - she spends hours playing with dirt and leaves outside! I'm craving all the loveliness of Fall and this day was really a gift as it was cool and lovely outside. It was quiet and slow and lovely.
A sweet friend reminded me of this Quieting Fall series from a couple of years ago. I'm going to revisit it in the coming days and am sharing it here in case it is a blessing to you as well.
