Slowing Summer: Create

Summer is a fun time to pick up some projects! I've done quite a bit of crocheting which I have really been enjoying! I now have a nice new stash of dishcloths ready to use and/or gift!

My Mom and I had a late night craft session one night and made these adorable dishtowels via inspiration here. After this, I made two more for gifts!

Samuel bought this little melty bead kit on clearance with some tooth fairy money and spent quite a lot of time creating these neat vehicles and then carrying out a battle between the tanks!

I made a new cover for my camera strap because mine was falling apart!

One of the prettiest pies I've ever achieved - cherry pie for Father's Day with cherries picked from my parents backyard!

The girls each made a dress for their American Girl dolls with my Mom!

Have you made anything this summer?

That is a beautiful pie! Those little tanks & trucks Samuel made are adorable. At first glance, I thought it was some kind of needle point that you did. Everything looks nice. Happy Independence Day!

I haven't made a single thing this summer. But I love your creations and the girls. Have a wonderful week ahead. Oh by the way....when does your book come out? Have I missed this?
