Simple Weekend Beauty

Eeks! I finally made a beautiful and tasty loaf of bread!!! Thanks to a friend suggesting I try Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day. I had looked at the book before - but am so glad I gave it a try! Mmmmmmmm - delish! I've been wanting to make rustic, lovely to look at and yummy bread and it just has not been working to my satisfaction so I'm thrilled with these results. And, if my calculations are correct - I figure it is about 0.25 per loaf. That is some inexpensive bread!

Our heat was out over last weekend and this was the perfect Saturday morning warm-up. Fireside breakfast of scones and hot tea. Yes, please!

Also, took my littles bowling with some free bowling coupons. Friday night brought the.most.amazing.sunset. I could feel the glow on my face. It was a gift.

Enjoy some slow, simple, beauty this weekend my friends!
