Veggie Tales Giveaway

Hi Friends, Happy Friday and November 1st already - where is the time going? I recently received a copy of Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas to review and share here and I have a second copy to send to one of you!

Since we love Christmas movies at our house, this was a fun one to have the opportunity to review. We piled on the couch one Saturday morning and all my littles loved it.

The basic story is that Bob and Mr. Lunt are hired to decorate the local mall. And, in true Veggie Tales style - it is not just any decorating job, they go all out. Then, a sweet girl stops by the elf house one day to visit Larry and plants a seed that maybe there is more to be done at Christmas than just decorate.

The narrator is a janitor, "Silas" with voice by Si Robertson of Duck Dynasty. Following the story of the little girl - all the veggies learn a great lesson about reaching out to help others. And, you can download an activity pack that goes with the DVD here.The activity downloads include ornaments you can print out and make, coloring pages and a page where you can use your own thumbprints to decorate the light strings.

This would be a great thing to show at a shoebox wrapping party or other service project coming up where you want to teach your children about the blessings of serving others.
