Ah...the complete joy of "slow days"...the simple things enjoyed by just being together. Just had to add that I think your living room looks so comfy and the slip covers you made still look wonderful! It must be satisfying to step back and look at them, knowing that you took on a challenging project and completed it well! Happy Wednesday!

Love those pix of Rachel. She reminds me so much of Natalie, whom I know will love that shirt in a couple years! =)

I don't remember if I've posted before but I've been following for a few years now. I just felt so much joy browsing your posts just now and felt the need to let you know. I love your gift of hospitality, you radiate such Godly mothering and being a wife, and have such a beautiful heart. I sat here with a big smile on my face asking God to bless you and your gorgeous family. You have blessed me xx Kristy from Australia

Art plays such a big part in your family. (I'm recalling how many different containers I've seen your art supplies in over the years.) Unlike a game or movie, drawing allows each person to do their own thing while still sharing a common activity. And, it is easy to carry on a conversation while creating art.
