Snow Day

We woke Sunday morning to a beautiful snow and it was an instant high around here! My littles were over the moon to see snow! They were dressed and outside all bundled up before church, after church and then we finally brought some inside which the girls played with for well over an hour! A fun snack we did another evening was tortilla snowflakes - fun and tasty!

Fun! We are still waiting for our first big snow. So far all we have had is dustings. I know it will be here soon!

If we could just add a soundtrack of the squeals of delight and laughter that went along with these photos! :)
Love you, Mom

I read this quote in a recent issue of Country Living:
"The snow itself is lonely or, if you prefer, self-sufficient. There is no other time when the whole world seems composed of one thing and one thing only."
Joseph Wood Krutch
The tortilla snowflakes look to be coated with cinnamon (!). That looks like a fun thing to make after a snowy day, or when there are just a couple tortillas left in the package needing to be used. Can you share the "recipe"?

Such fun pictures! Oh how I love the first picture. So many pictures you post I think to myself how beautiful they would be framed..

Thank you for the smiles that came to my face. I could feel the same joy those little ones were. :0)
