First Day of Fall Picnic

What do you do when the First Day of Fall falls on the first soccer game day for both you and a friend? Plan a picnic breakfast of course!

Cute plaid thermos' are filled with hot water and look at the cute entertainment we had! This was Samuel's only smile during the morning - which was also his first game experience.

I made these yummy pumpkin scones - paired with hot tea, they were delicious! Happy First Day of Fall - this was a fun start to our day and season!

I've never made a sconce. I always thought they looked too dry. But this recipe looks moist and flaky.
The vintage thermoses are a great find, one that I've had on my "wish list" for quite some time.
Samuel may well have enjoyed soccer more than he showed by expression. My son is intense when he is on the field.
