We have this fun tradition of pulling our Dining Room table into the Living Room for Valentine's Day and eating dinner by candlelight in front of the fireplace! What we have for dinner never seems to matter - but moving the table and decorating it all pretty is the main focus!
This year, I did something I've never done before and ordered Outback Takeout to serve at our Living Room fireside dinner. It was a big surprise and special treat and we really enjoyed it!
Did you do anything fun for Valentine's Day?

Hey my husband picked up Outback Steakhouse for Valentines day too:) Great minds think alike.
So cozy! What a special time together - love how you create "moments" in everything!
It has also been a tradition at our home to do a special dinner AT HOME on valentines day - the kids always loved it and anticipated it. Pull out the fancy dishes and crystal (handed down from grandparents), a beautiful tablecloth, and eat by only candlelight. We have been doing this for about 18 or so years, and it is still eagerly anticipated and enjoyed! Now, the funny thing (at least to me) is that my "kids" are now young men (real boys, tough & dirty) who still get a kick out of these frilly, candelight dinners with mom and dad! Won't their someday wives be blessed?! (-:
What a nice idea to eat by the fireplace. I bet the kids loved it, not to mention your Husband.
My hubby made dinner for the family. He made cheese steaks and fries for our son and him; Trader Joe's soup and takeout from Saladworks for our daughter and me. Everyone was delighted! We have never had dinner in front of our fireplace. Must do that soon!
OH, I think having a meal by candlelight is lovely :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
