Ideas

Oh, ideas are delicious to me! I guess I'm an idea-junkie! What about you? I love Pinterest, magazines, blogs and really any source of ideas!

But, I'm not content to just collect ideas - I love to try them! I've even started a Pinterest section for pinned ideas that I have tried. And, thought it would be fun to share that here a little too! Here are the ideas I've seen and tried in the past few weeks.

As I put this collection together just now, I realized that I only spent about $5 to make all of these. All the rest of the supplies came from scraps or things I already had. For example, I made the tablecloth out of leftovers from my slip covers. I bought some twine and paid for a few copies to be made and that's it! I think it is fun to see an idea and then make it my own or see how inexpensively I can make it.

How about you? Do you collect ideas or make an effort to try and make some of them?

Pinterest, it's something I see a lot but just don't seem to find the time to get over there to look at it. I hear you need an invite as well, why is that?
Beautiful crafts and so nice that you can creat from what you have.

I have tried a number of ideas from Pinterest and also some of yours! I made a cloth wrapped heart wreath after reading about yours here on your blog. I appreciate all your creative ideas. :)

Love the scarf! I'm bad about loving ideas and even clipping or saving them, only to forget about them and never try them!

I collect ideas, too -- I have a couple of three-ring binders full of them! But you follow through on ideas and spend less doing it more than anyone I know! Thanks for sharing -- I love all the results! :) Love you, Mom

I love "ideas" as well. I collect them in a file on my computer. I have so many projects to try. Next year I am setting a goal to get more of them done.

I don't have much time to spend on pinterest. But I like how you are using it to share what you have done. Another great idea shared.

Have a wonderful day.

I am a little of both. Okay, maybe a lot of an idea collector. :) I do like trying new ideas when time permits. A goal for the new year is to find a block of time each week to create.

The table cloth is adorable!

I have actually done more ideas from pinterest than from magazines- and I too, am usually using things I already have! I love seeing how creative others are and having a continually changing source of great ideas!

Oh, bless your heart! I am motivated to do many things, but what you've shown are the type of thing I file away and never get around to.

Wow! I am impressed by how much you've made. I collect alot of ideas but, sadly, don't do as many as I'd like. I really love the scarves! :)

I love that I watched you making this on your blog, and then just happened upon Joy's blog about having received it. And of course I was inspired to write a note to a dear friend with a complicated pregnancy. Thanks for the inspiration, and thanks to both of you for letting God use you for good.

Will you make me a tablecloth? I love it -- Do you have an etsy shop? I am now following you on pinterest :-) I'd make it myself but I don't sew. I was just looking up burlap pillows...

I have made one recipe so far on my pins...
