Of course, I took a zillion photos to capture the beauty! It was an absolutely perfect day - no rain, a slight wind to keep bugs at bay and 68 degrees - I thanked God numerous times for creating such a perfectly beautiful day and for the opportunity to enjoy our meal outside!
So sad that Emily wasn't feeling well and did not feel like joining us outside. We missed her!
Tablecloth was inspired by this and made from leftover couch canvas!
Placecard Inspiration.
Give Thanks banner printable.
Burlap Thanksgiving printable. I just put it in one of the frames I keep current photos of my littles in - no need to buy a new frame just for a short time of using it!
Twine Candle Holder Inspiration.
Napkin Ring printable.
David's mom and brother joined us, I only got a picture of one of them - oops!
What do you have for Thanksgiving dinner?
We had:
Turkey & Gravy
Stuffing {box of Stove Top}
Cranberry Sauce
Twice Baked Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Rolls
Pumpkin Pie and Real Whipped Cream
Under a canopy of leaves turning yellow:
I will never forget this wonderful day!

What a beautiful day you created for your family. They are blessed.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!! so glad your dream became a reality. Good job.
How charming to have your meal outside!: )
LOVE, love, love this post about your outdoor Thanksgiving feast! What precious memories you're creating for your family each day, and for all of us that you share your ideas with. We had turkey from a local farm, pecan stuffing, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, cranberry sauce with a touch of orange, and asparagus. Our tradition is to put up the Christmas tree and decorate it after the feasting.
You've done it again! What a beautiful setting in which to give thanks and make more special family memories. :) And the fact that you enjoy it so much shines through in the beauty you've created. :)
I'm sorry Emily didn't feel well and hope she is much better by now.
Love, Mom
It turned out great! It looks like one of those wonderful magazine spreads. So happy that this dream came true for you! :)
WOW! You did great. Looks like a peaceful Thanksgiving!
how magical! what a memory you created for you family! we had beautiful day here in utah...but still too cold to eat outside! i remember when we lived in georgia how that would have been possible! also couldn't help but notice your cute enamelware and glass butter dish! my butter dish and enamelware like yours are red and other various colors! aren't they fun. you're a girl after my own heart!! we had the basics as well for dinner, my favorite this year was the simple layered salad i made....so yummy!
What beautiful memories you have created for your family! They are blessed to have you in their family! Just lovely Monica!
Blessings,
Lisa
Hello,
I am a long time reader of your blog and I absolutely love the multi-faceted tiered server from the Blessings catalogue that I wish to purchase from you, I have two questions, do you ship to quebec Canada and does it ever go on sale? I absolutely love it but it is a bit expensive and I need to factor in shipping costs.
I tried emailing you from your belssings page but i guess you did not receive it.
Thank you very much in advance and God bless!

HI Monica,
Aren't those blessings like good weather so good? :) :) I'm really glad you could enjoy Thanksgiving outside ;) :) I think I"m vintage obsessed because did I see a red enamelware cup and a white pan with black trim (that had turkey in it?) Really neat :) :) You did a wonderful job of decorating everything. You have been blessed with a beautiful family, too :) :) Have a great week, Monica. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
This looks wonderful! I echo Wendi's comment that it looked like something out of a magazine! I'd love to come to your Thanksgiving dinner!
This looks like so much fun. Putting this one in the back of my mind for next year.
I bet your neighbors wished they were outside with you as well! So lovely, Monica. I enjoy seeing how you turn the ordinary into something worth celebrating.
One word lovely:) I loved what your mom said about how the fact that you enjoy it so much shines through in the beauty you've created.
Shelby~
