Simple Beauty: Ribbon

Ribbon has got to be about one of the simplest and easiest ways to bring a little touch of beauty to just about anything. Add a little ribbon to a jar of cookies (above, taken to Emily's piano recital) or tie a bow around your guest towels. Tie some on a jar of flowers or even around your cleaning spray!

I agree! I always stop by the ribbon bins at the fabric and department stores. Great reminder!

I still have the bottle that you gave me in a swap. I have water in it and Megan loves to "help" me clean.

Hi Monica,

I just LOVE this idea ;) :) It's funny you should post about it today. I use mason jars, actually they're ball jars, as drink glasses. They're so cute and very much vintage chic. A couple of my other friends have mentioned tying ribbons around the jars, too :) :) I don't have ribbon, but I do have some cute fabric. I should make my own mason jar "treatments" :) :) :)

I check out your previous post about making a cute cover for a spray bottle. That's ADORABLE!!!

Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

so simple - and lovely. Its those extra little things I think that truly make the difference of saying - "I took the time, because I care".
