You can't get much more local than your own back yard and I always think things that came out of our garden are so pretty and such a pleasure to serve!
Within 20 minutes of digging up potatoes, I had these scrubbed and roasting in the oven - YUM!
We are still watching our garden grow. We can't plant up here until late May and Hubby took on the task of getting in a new garden this year. So looking forwarded to having some great salads soon. Your potatoes look great.
How delicious, to eat fresh from the garden. Here in Australia we are in the grip of winter, but I'm thrilled to spy my oranges getting brighter with each day and almost ready to eat. Blessings Dorothy :)
Yum! I'm sure that is such a very satisfying feeling - to see the entire process from start to finish! God is so good to allow us the opportunity to enjoy his bounty!
Roasted new potatoes sound fabulous - would you want to share the recipe, please?
I can't agree more!! We have been enjoying a harvest of many blessings from our gardens so far. I delight in going out each morning to see what I can find for lunch or supper(I blog about it often...my readers probably think I am crazy). What started out as fun/hobby is finally paying off and becoming a way of life for us. Right in our backyard. The potatoes sound good!

I agree... and they seem to taste better too!

And the red Pyrex adds to the "old time" feel. How do you roast potatoes? Do you add any spices/oils to the potatoes?
Wonderful!
They look great Monica! I haven't had luck with taters... maybe next year?
I have a recipe for the oven roasted potatoes but would like to see how you prepare them. Would appreciate your version. Thanks.
