Haven: Day Five Update

We had a little boy who did not feel good around here today - so spent a lot of time doing laundry and snuggling with him. I fell asleep while watching a movie with him (!) so it was a low key day.

We did get to go for our Family Night outing - it was chilly, but still nice to be outside. And, I started at the front door and set the timer for 30 minutes to see how much tidying I could get done in that time! Wow - what a difference, it is amazing what we can get done in half an hour when we really work at it!

Thanks so much for joining me this week - hope you have a great weekend!

I am impressed that you got an outing in and tidying up with a sick little one. Thanks for hosting this Haven week.

I am sorry to hear that your little man isn't feeling well today. Making a sick child comfortable is certainly a way of blessing your home and family as far as I am concerned. I hope he feels better soon and that none of the rest of the family gets sick!

I hope your little one feels better. I'm glad that you could go an an outing. Oh, setting the t imer and doing some speed cleaning is a fantastic idea!!! Although I just do it in 15 minute increments :) ) I think I originally learned that tip from Emilie Barnes. Oh, have a blessed weekend, Monica. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Hope your little one is feeling better.

I often set a time for 15-30 minutes and see what I can get done. Sometimes it's all the time I have but I always gets lots done. Most things don't take nearly as long as I think they will.

Have a nice weekend.

the timer can really be amazing at showing you how much you really can get done in a short amount of time. Most of the time I set mine for 20 min.
