Spring Notecard or Invite Idea

I saw a cute bouquet of these fabric flowers made up for a Valentine party and thought they would make cute note cards too! Isn't that cute for Spring?! Just cut various fabric circles and glue on top of each other - top with a button or two! Simple!

This is a great idea! I've been working on scrap quilts lately and there are always bits left. This will be a fun project for the notes I am intending to write. Thank you for sharing this happy thought!

Very cute! I can picture a stack of these being given as a gift tied with twine.
I wonder whether these can be mailed because of the bulk? I guess USPS would just not put them through the automated machines. What kind of glue did you use to secure the buttons?

And the irregular shape of each layer adds to the charm. I would be tempted to measure and cut "perfect" circles for each layer. But the organic approach definately is cuter and quicker!
