Sweet Harmony Handbag

I've been working for a couple of weeks on making this new purse! I wanted to have it ready in time for spring - and I love it!

I already had the pattern and fabric, and am trying to complete some projects that I already have all the supplies for! I will tell you that I found this pattern challenging - I thought I'd never figure out the cell phone pocket! But, in the end - I'm very pleased with how it turned out!

The purse totally looks like spring! It also looks to be more advanced than my own sewing skills! Very cute!

That purse is so pretty! I would love to sew together a few of those for my daughters and myself! But alas, I don't think my sewing skills are quite "there" yet :)

So cute! I don't think I would have the paitience to muddle through the pattern. I've 2 similar patterns that I've shelved. Great job!

LOVE IT!! What a great place to put the cell phone pocket.

Don't you feel like you can conquer the world when you figure out an obscure sewing step???

I think its adorable. I have to say I have a purse pattern my Amy Butler and I have not finished it. I found it very difficult to understand and I even asked my mil who has been sewing for 30+ years and she couldnt even figure it out. I have some of it sewn together so I might just finish it my own way.

Its very pretty!

Love the purse. Amy Butler has beautiful fabric lines. I have always thought her patterns were a little bit difficult. For me anyways. I am a visual person.
You however did a great job.

And since it looks like you no longer have snow on the ground, it looks like a grand time to declare "spring!" I love that color combination and all of the pockets. I love the handbag you made for me during my first swap. I use it to carry "things to do" if I am going to be waiting somewhere for my kids. Are you planning a swap soon??

Great Handiwork Monica!

My totally awesome purse is on hold because my sewing machine faultered during my zipper application... ugh! :)

I love the print! Very feminine- and will look great with that new cut- you're all set for spring!
