The title of this post comes from a post I read over at (In) Courage ~ and it got me to thinking about this coming year. Here are a few thoughts for the coming year as well as a few favorite pix from this past year!

Exude peace.
Create rest.
Lovingly create.
Creatively love.
Choose simplicity.

Grow deeper.
Seek beauty.
Make memories.
Learn to pray.
Soul nourish. (Inspiration from Ann)
Home haven.
As I grow in these ways this year, I'll share some of what I'm learning. What are your "God-sized dreams" for 2010?

Beautifully, beautifully said!
My husband and I have both agreed that we'd like to live more joyfully this year and be more diligent about teaching the love of God to our little ones.
Love your list! My verse for 2010 is Luke 24:45: "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures." My God-sized dream is to know Him more intimately than ever before in my life... through a deeper understanding of His Word. I'm working on the rest of my list. Maybe I'll use yours! :) Happy 2010!
I love that title...God -sized Dreams. Perfect for 2010 for my husband and I.....we are preparing to launch a church plant this year....our biggest God sized dream yet:).
Happy New year.
Oh My. I was thinking about this yesterday, but couldn't come up with the right words. You hit on my feelings EXACTLY!
I need to write this down in my handbook.
Blessings Monica!
What a beautiful post. This is causing me to think hard. What are my God-sized dreams?
I don't have an answer just yet but you've given me something to chew on. Thanks!
I just found your The Homespun Heart site through a link on the WAHM site and I must say it is wonderful. I am definitely going to have to check out the One Year Bible. I also enjoyed your God-sized Dreams version of New Year's Resolutions.
Hi Monica,
I'm coming over from (in)Courage, and just wanted to say that I love your God-sized dreams list. Simple and deep at the same time!
And I just noticed your "inspiration" quote is the verse I have chosen to guide me through 2010.
I'll be back to visit again -- nice to "meet" you!
Mmm... Amen sister!
Love it! I feel calmer just after reading it and looking at those cute pictures.
My "theme" or "phrase for the year" is "STAY THE COURSE". I know what God wants me to do according to His Word and now I need to STICK TO IT! Keep plugging away. Keep on keepin' on! Instead of getting bogged down by the world, FLESH, & the devil, just run the race whole-heartedly and with the joy of the Lord! I know God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask or think and I'm choosing to trust Him (a daily battle) with the tasks that He has set before! He is here to help me, guide me, and give me wisdom!
I am soooo excited! God is soooo very good!
Love your photos & list!
Great post. I love your list.
An absolutely beautiful post! :)
Wishing you and your sweet family an absolutely wonderful New Year! :)
Hi, Monica,
Happy New Year! I so enjoyed your family pictures. Adorable.
Can I borrow your list to add to mine. You verbalize much better than I. I mainly want to be more consistent in the study of God's word and draw closer to Him and to share Him with others.
Your blog always offers so much inspiration. Thank you.
Love & Hugs,
Hattie In Tennessee
What an inspiration your list is!
