Oh, the weather outside is ...

I know, I'm on vacation - but I am so excited that it is *SNOWING* right now - I just had to share!

I'm sure everyone who lives in Colorado Springs is moaning about winter starting already - but to me this is a sweet gift of getting to see snow! I didn't really expect to see it - but, it makes me so happy! Oh, and cozy!

We're having a great time with family and enjoying the gift of this time together - more later!

Monica, we're getting ready to take a family vacation to Colorado Springs for the first time. It hadn't even occured to me that it could be snowing there! I guess I need to pack a little differently than for our 80 degree weather here!
Hope you are having a fun time there.
I wish I knew what some of your favorite little places are there in Co springs. I'll have some free time for shopping & browsing. If you have time to post any, I'll watch for them!

Oh, no!!!! I'm two hours north and SO hope it doesn't move my way. :) I'm happy for your sake that you are enjoying it, but I just might cry.

Dear Monica:

SNOWING? God must have planned that just for YOU!

Hope to get to talk to you this week.

Love you, Grandma

Monica, so glad to hear you all are doing well and enjoying the time together. :)

Now, for the cold weather? I'm SO JEEAAALOOOUSSS!!! How can it be that it's snowing there and so hot and humid where I am?!!! GRRR! Okay, I guess I better be thankful. :)

Enjoy!

Hi Monica,

How fun!!! We are experiencing precipitation of the not-so-fun kind...flooding! I live in the northeastern suburbs of Atlanta and we are experiencing record rain fall and flooding. School was cancelled today and again tomorrow.

Build a snowman for me!

It's SNOWING? Wow!

We're having one long indian summer here (VERY unusual for Holland!) and I absolutely had enough.. it doesn't help that I'm 7 months pregnant and feel 5 degrees warmer anyway.. *lol*

Greetings from the netherlands!

My in laws live in the Black Forest in the Springs. I was very jealous when they told me it was going to snow. I love the snow. SC is definitely not the state to live in if you love the snow. But beautiful fall days we get.... I guess I can't really complain.

I think it's great you enjoy seeing snow, the first snowfall for us shouldn't be for another couple of months but after that I can say I would rather it not snow. God Bless your time and enjoy the snowflakes.

That's crazy!! We were doing school on the porch today, but got too hot so we came inside :-) I like summer though, so I'm happy with it! I'm glad you're getting to enjoy snow while you're there.
