Tea Time

What better finish to the Downton Abbey Exhibition than to top it off with tea! A hotel nearby had offered a combination ticket for tea and the exhibit and I'm so glad we decided to do this!

Slowing down for tea felt decadent and descriptive of being on vacation, but it was so refreshing too and filled my beauty tank! Seeing a new place, tasting delicious foods, flowers, not being in a rush, and soul-filling company were all such a blessing.

And a few sights on the way back to the car and out of town -

Tea time is such a gift to the heart and soul, slowing down, enjoying good food and conversation, just taking time for the deep breath. I want to remember to take the time for this when I can!

Wow, what a photogenic place!! My mother, sister, and I did high tea once at a Four Seasons Resort in California. It was such and elegant and fun experience.

This was the perfect thing after the Downton Abbey Exhibition and every treat was scrummy! :) I love the way you captured the beauty along our walk back to the parked car. I saw and enjoyed those same sights, but you've captured them so that they can be enjoyed forever!
