Autumn In Avonlea

Also over Labor Day weekend, we enjoyed keeping up our tradition of watching Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea!

The girls cut and arranged the beauty berries which always appear just in time for our annual viewing! Emily put one of my favorite Anne quotes on the letter board and this sparked a fun Instagram conversation about other favorite quotes!

As is usual for life getting busy, I didn't really think ahead on what I would serve so came up with things we had on hand: quiche, sliced strawberries and of course cooked carrots! {Carrots! Perfect for this movie!!} We also had leftover apple fritters for dessert and each made our own cup of tea!

Don't we all love Anne?! Your special touches make it so lovely and special. Those metal trays are great were they a vintage find?

@Bevy: Yes, they are apple fritters just made using a cookie scoop! Recipe from Magnolia Magazine Fall 2017.

@Laura: YES! The trays were found at a thrift store!!! I've loved having them!
