Simple Weekend Beauty: Color {And a Giveaway!}
I recently received a copy of this coloring book: Hygge Happy: Coloring Pages for a Cozy Life. Hygge is a Danish word and concept that really encapsulates cozy! I had so much fun coloring by the creek and camp fire during our camping trip!
And, I get to give a copy to one of you! To enter, just leave a comment telling me your favorite way to be cozy: a food, decor, activity, something about your home. Comments will be open until Sunday evening! Winner must have a US mailing address.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this coloring book to post and share about it. All opinions are my own. Amazon affiliate link used above.

Cozy= a candle lit, hymns playing in the background and a cup of coffee or tea in my hand.
Cozy for me is: freezing cold out side, fire in the fireplace inside along with a pot of chili and coffee and hot chocolate and homemade bread and homemade cookies! Or cooking a meal in the fireplace..or baking all day! My list could go on FOREVER!!!
Building a fire in the wood stove and gathering around it is definitely my favorite way to be cozy! Recently we had the fire going, my kids were doing their handicrafts (embroidery and loom knitting currently) and I was reading Little House on the Prairie...a wonderful, cozy memory!
Cozy= Thieves Oil diffusing, coffee and an old movie playing!
Cozy is wearing fleece with a fire burning and playing Settlers of Catan with my kids. Oh, and we usually have tea/hot chocolate with an apple/pumpkin dessert. I also love being outside in the fall weather. Lately, we have had clear blue sky, sun, and a chill in the air...perfect!
I love a cup of tea and a snuggle with my kids in a soft, warm blanket! :)
A fire in the fireplace.

Candles & hot tea!
I love to cuddle up with a book, a blanket, and my cat, especially if it is Christmas time, and I have my tree up.
My favorite cozy is.... Burning a dire in my woodstove with candles burning and sitting around talking to my family. Also the smell of cookies baking in the oven.
No matter the temp, I need a blanket on top of my legs to feel cozy. I like these coloring pages as they are not overly intricate and the individual images are separate from one another.
Cozy for me means candles lit, soft music playing and something in the oven.
I love the cozy feeling of a warm fire, a pot of soup simmering and nowhere to go.
A pot of soup simmering while fresh bread is coming out of the oven.
Afternoon tea
Cozy...a freshly cleaned house, candles burning and drinking a hot cup of tea after a hot bath. Blissful!

Curled up with a cozy blanket and a good book in front of the fire.
My favorite way to be cozy is to bake something. I love feeling the warmth of the stove in the kitchen and the smell of something freshly baked.
Rereading the Little House series while drinking chai tea.
Before dawn breaks...wrapped in a quilt...candle burning...reading.
Reading, watching Hallmark or Masterpiece shows. Thanks.
By wearing pink or purple cozy socks
By being home, snuggled in with a blanket, and comfy clothes!~Karena D
That coloring book is very cute! You have received lots of good comments about how to create cozy - and I agree there are lots of ways to make things cozy. For me, cozy usually involves some combination of chilly weather, a hot beverage, a blanket, a fire in the fireplace, a good movie or book, playing a game, or baking. Cozy is especially wonderful at Christmas when there are Christmas lights, music, and goodies. :)
What a fun concept for a coloring book! I love being cozy!! Warm socks, a nice smelling candle, a hot drink, a blanket . . .
Such a cute coloring book! My favorite way to be cozy is what I am doing now on a rainy day -- watching a movie with popcorn and a candle burning :) Happy Sunday!

With my feet toward our old woodstove.....cozy!
