Shoveling, Babysitting Certification and Anthropologie!

Saturday morning, we woke up to several inches of snow! Yippee! I had so much fun shoveling and getting a little exercise first thing in the morning! If exercise were as fun as shoveling snow I might participate more often! :)

When my cheeks get that freezing tingly rosy feeling, it just energizes me! We needed to get out early though because Emily had been saving up for her babysitting first aid and safety certification class! David said if she saved up for half of the class cost herself, he would cover the rest. This was a great experience in and of itself - and she did it!

After getting her to her class, I was so excited to go visit Anthropologie! I've wanted to go for years and it was so fun to see the snow fluttering about while we were inside feeling festive and inspired!

My mom treated me to some of the white mini cafe bowls that I've been drooling over for a while - such fun!

We wandered through Pottery Barn too and then went to Whit's End play area at Focus on the Family!

Rachel's favorite episode is the one about the Underground Railroad - she was excited to see that they had part of this displayed!

Then we enjoyed a yummy lunch and went to the thrift store! The night before we left for our Colorado trip, Samuel pulled out his coat and it was a size 5T! We've been making it work but it is obvious that it is too small - I was thrilled to find him a new coat at Goodwill for $6!

And here is Emily with her Child and Babysitting Safety card! Great job!

Tell me what you were up to this weekend!

I stumbled upon your blog recently and just love it!
I'm a stay-at-home mom to three boys, 4, 2, and a 1-month old! It's been an adjustment for sure, but I just love this time at home with them!
