Scripture Doodle Devotionals
Recently I received these two versions of Scripture Doodle devotional books. The books are a fun and unique way to approach your devotional time with doodling prompts, Scripture and even hand lettering and bordering tips and practice.
Scripture Doodle and Scripture Doodle God's Promises are each six week devotional books.
Each two-page spread includes a Scripture verse, thoughts and questions to consider and a few prompts to begin your doodle.
I love the oversize format of the book - it is about 8.5x 10.5 inches. And, the rounded corners and soft cover give it a great feel.
This is a creative concept to approaching our devotional time each day and still expressing our own God-given creativity, and I like the way it helps me think through the small details of a verse or passage as I'm drawing/lettering/coloring/adding in layers.
I like things that are very focused on Scripture and not too much opinion added in - really leaving room for you to dig into the verse yourself. This book is great at this and I think it could even be great for my girls who are 10 and 12 years old.
Scripture Doodle or Scripture Doodle God's Promises would make great gifts or an addition to your own Quiet Time! More reviews and information available here.
Fine Print: I received both books for free in exchange for my opinion and sharing them with you here. Amazon Affiliate links are used above.

this looks like such a fun gift... especially for the artistic ladies and then tween/teen set!!
Neat!
My daughter would love this...thank you for sharing.
these books would be wonderful for any age. Thanks for posting about them just in time for Christmas.
I think that my daughter would enjoy this method of studying scripture. However, time is always tight for creativity. Since this is a 6 week devotional, I'm going to keep it in mind for summer. I'm tempted to buy one for myself too, but I've promised myself that I will finish a couple of other books before starting any others. Hope you enjoy your copies!
