Great list of books! I read some of the same ones (Mistletoe Inn, Just Show Up, the Elm Creek Quilt books). The book I was proudest to read this year was Slow Lane! :) Other books I read that were impactful are: When God Doesn't Fix It by Laura Story; Where the Light Gets In by Kimberly Williams-Paisley (her mother has the same condition as our friend Frank F); The Caregivers: A Support Group's Stories of Slow Loss, Courage, and Love by Nell Lake; and Lessons from Madame Chic - 20 Stylish Secrets I Learned While Living in Paris by Jennifer L. Scott. Happy reading in 2017!

Every year I aspire to document my books read, but it has yet to become a long term habit. My reading amount has lessened over the past couple of years, and I attribute that to too much screen time. I have listened to many books through hoopla. Fun and free! I haven't finished your book yet, and want to carve out some quiet time to do so in Jan. What was your favorite fiction and non fiction read from 2016? I loved Jesus>Religion and Interrupted and Falling Free.
