Truth Telling 17: I am grateful for His instruction.
Proverbs 1:1-7, "The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young - let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance - for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Proverbs 4:13, "Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life."
Proverbs 8:10-11, "Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her."
Proverbs 15:33, "Wisdom's instruction is to fear the Lord, and humility comes before honor."
Proverbs 19:27, "Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge."
Proverbs 23:12, "Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge."
Tell yourself this truth today: Seeking God's wisdom and instruction over man's are of utmost value.
