I love your slow day post...really I love all of your wonderful posts. I look forward to my morning read of you blog. Your slow day post really have me thinking of how we spend our time as a family.
Looks like a great day!! Lilly got a kick out of your picture with the thermoses-probably because her mom has a similar collection! Then...she saw the sign and said, "You made that for her, didn't you, Mom?" Love that pic!!! Happy Fall!!!! Elise
Hi Monica, I am happy to see you are having a slow day. I wondered if your family was all right after Hurricane Sandy as I know you live in a coastal area and imagine your husband is a first responder during storms. Just wanted to let you know that I have been praying for your family:) Kathy
Looks like maybe you weren't feeling well with the medicines. I like how you made the most of it though. Love the sleeping bag picnic.....so cozy on a cool day! Hope you are feeling better today
What a great idea to have the kids sit on their individual sleeping bags. Eliminates personal space issues. Wish I had printed the "be thankful" holders on kraft paper. They look great. Is the thankful sign made from stenciled letters on wood? I have been piecing together a gallery wall in my family room. That could be the crowning piece! Your thermos collection looks like it has grown. How practical that your decor also serves function for you!
