Wow you did that cake? I'm so impressed! Well done. Quick question, on the black board, what is holding the ereaser? Great job, I knew you would make her day special.
Glad to see these photos -- thanks! Everything looks great! :) The cake turned out so cute -- and I recognized a lot of the Barbie stuff. That red/chrome chair is vintage! And, of course, the birthday girl was a doll herself! Love you, Mom
How cute! YOu did a great job on the cake. I made a Mermaid cake for my daughter's birthday. I will post a picture on my blog.
Where did you get your barbie to stick in the cake? I can not find a black lady "pick" to go with my cake pan and a regular Barbie was too tall. Your lady is really beautiful, was it a full size Barbie? You have inspired us to make the princess next year.
Lynn Marie: it is an enamelware holder of some kind. I think it supposed to be for soap? But, I use it for chalk and eraser at the chalkboard! It came with a hole already in the top for hanging - so it was all ready to go!

A barbie cake? You *are* talented! I would like to see how you did that.

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh--look at all that old Barbie stuff we used to play with. I didn't realize you still had it?!
Looking forward to hearing more.
