Leanne, those are probably either peaches or cherries (trees, that is)!
Spring is arriving here in Leesville, SC as well. All the beautiful peach trees are blooming! Its a wonderful sign of renewal and rebirth, a reminder of God's faithfulness, that year after year, He continues to pull us out of a long, slumberous winter!

I wish Spring would approach. We had snow yesterday. Your pictures are the closest I've been to Spring. I don't think our dogwoods come out until June...they wait until the weather is for sure warm....

Spring has come for a few days, just to tease us. It will be cool again in a day or two. It has been so nice to get the windows open and air out the house. I too am thankful to the Lord for His wonderful creation. Dogwoods were my Grandpa's favorite tree. When they bloom I always think of him.

Ohh, those are beautiful! We won't have blossoms for another 6-8 weeks or so, but I can hardly wait! I'm soooo ready for spring. :)

Yes! On a slightly different note, I was driving across the causeway this morning at sunrise and it was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. There was mist on the water and the waterbirds (I saw cranes and storks and egrets) were feeding. It was stunning.

I love your blog, and your committment to Christ and your family. No, Spring isn't approaching fast enough. But, since the Lord's timing is perfect, I guess that makes me imperfect and impatient!!!

So pretty! I love that type of tree as well.
Finally, the other day after we had a gully washer the sun came out and we noticed that are bulbs are pushing through....so, hopefully spring will be here soon.

Beautiful! We have a blooming cherry tree in our front yard and we are all looking forward enjoying those beautiful blooms!

Beautiful pictures! We have had a tease of spring, but it is too early for it to stay yet.

Beautiful pictures Monica! :)

No...no spring here in PA...still cold. Although we warm some...it gets cold again quickly. We have a lot of MUD. I am looking forward to flowers and spring! ;)

Positively gorgeous! I'll admit I'm more than a tad envious. We have rain, rain and more rain, then temps plummeting back to the 30's this week. I want to go play in the garden!

Wow- beautiful pictures! I'm in Wisconsin and we still have snow covering the ground here since November! My husband shovelled us out from 8 inches yesterday! I was amazed when I read your recent gardening post and thought- is this for real??? Hard to imagine with all of the snow we have here in Wisconsin! Can't wait for spring- it'll start around here in late May!

Our spring (as you know) can give the "worst" snow of the year, so our blooms are not here yet. But...the weather does stay nice, longer.

I LOOOOVE these plants/trees/blooms! I so wish we had them here. They are just perfectly delicate and lively. Make me feel all girly inside.

Beautiful!!! No, unfortunately, spring is still a long way off for us (or so it seems). But I'll just keep living vicariously through those of you who actually have spring-like weather, budding flowers and all!

The pictures are beautiful! Let's see Sunday was snow and freezing rain, Monday was 50 degrees, today 20 and rainy and tomorrow we are suppose to get 35 mph winds and really cold temps. By the weekend it's suppose to be 48. A peek at winter/spring in WI. Oh joy!

Not yet! We get such a short spring here. I appreciate spring so much because of that! gorgeous pictures.

Beautiful flowering photos! Down here in TX our trees are blooming and the Bradford pears are flowering. Even the birds seem to be singing louder in the mornings in the back yard. I am very ready for spring. Makes me inspired to celebrate along with all of creation. Ideas are flourishing. many smiles, Angelia in TX

Sigh--ironic timing since MOPS was canceled again today due to ice/snow! Spring, where are you?!

Oh, how I wish there was a hint of "bloom" in Iowa. We're supposed to get rain this afternoon and then it will turn into freezing rain and snow overnight. We're on our fourth dreary day in a row. I'm SO ready for spring.

Thanks for sharing those delightful blooms!!

What a beautiful sight! We are still in the snowdrop and crocus phase here (PA), so thanks for sharing these photos. :)

It's not getting here fast enough!

Yes! Our azaleas are covered in beautiful blooms and we've already planted some annuals that are blooming and growing quickly! I love springtime here in Central Florida!

Ohhh! dogwoods and spanish moss in the background. You just made my day. I grew up in FL where everything has that moss on it. It's so southern. Blessings to you and yours and have a wonderful day. Spring is just around the corner.

I do believe it is a dogwood tree - this was at our local park about a week and a half ago!

Heading into autumn here in New Zealand. If only it was spring instead.

We had 49 one day last week. The kids and I sat out on the grass and ate. The next couple of days, we were at 8 degrees. Right now, we're below zero with quite a bit of snow on the ground. We're supposed to be up to 50 this weekend. Go figure!

Anonymous said...

No......but autumn will be here soon (we live in New Zealand).
Always seems odd to think of you going towards summer and we are heading towards winter!

Cheers, Wilma

Beautiful blossoms! Nothing like that blooming here -- thanks for this glimpse of spring. :) Love, Mom

They are a beautiful sight to see. To know that your getting the first taste of spring is wonderful to me. We are still getting moisture here in our part of the world. Snow, once I would have complained now in my humble heart I am grateful for the moisture that will help bring forth our spring flowers.

These pix are a breath of fresh air for my winter-weary soul! Thank you!

It is cold, dark and drab in my part of Indiana and I'm longing for spring!
