I know that some of you are sick of snow - but for those of us who rarely get to see it - it is a blessing and such fun! The day after Christmas, it snowed beautifully at the cabin and we had fun going out and enjoying it!
Oh how cute Monica, my girls sooooooo wish they could play in snow!!!! I love the one of with mouth opened wide!!! I hope you all are having a wonderful time still! It has been fun to experiance Colorado through your eyes.
I love, love the picture of your daughter with head in the air and tongue out! TOO CUTE! Oh, I think my comment on your last post didn't work...so I just wanted to say, I love everything you post but especially: 1. Homeschooling ideas/crafts/outings (I think your children are close to the same age as mine and so I REALLY LOVE SEEING WHAT YOU COME UP WITH) 2.Crafting ideas 3. Really enjoyed Making Your Home a Haven... 4. Decorating and so inexpensively!!
Seeing the picture of your little one making snow angels brought a smile to my face. I grew up in MD and we got our fair share of snow and hearing the news anchor say school was out meant that we could play all day in the snow. Making snow angels was my favorite thing to do. So glad the littles were able to enjoy the snow.
The picture of your daughter on the sled and the one of her eating snow were just beautiful. They made me teary eyed remembering those simple pleasure of the season.
Oh yes, snow angels! I love to look out in the yard after we have played in the snow and see all of the different marks/prints we left behind. From my daughter's snow angels to my husband's size 12 footprints to my son's gathering of snow to make snowballs to my dog's small paw prints. Unfortunately, in southern NJ, we get very little snow. And it is often mixed with rain, so it doesn't last long.
Wow, it looks like everyone had so much fun! We're not quite sick of snow yet here in Connecticut, but we've been in Florida for the past 4 years, so it's still a bit of a novelty. The slush and ice I could do without! :)
Snow Angels! I love the pictures Monica, thank you for sharing them with us. The baby's picture is just precious.
Growing up in West Texas (Lubbock) we got plenty of snow during winter time. Now that my husband and I live in San Antonio, I get to missing those days when we could run out and play in the snow and have snowball fights, make snow angels and put icicles on the snow unicorns that we would build.
What fun!
Smiles, Deanna :)
BTW, I have some awards that I'm giving out. Come over to my blog and pick them up so you can award your friend's blogs and give them a giggle. Don't feel that you have to post them on your blog. You won't offend me at all! I just wanted you to have them. :)
Happy New Year! Monica! Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful ideas. It looks like a blast was had by all.

Gorgeous. We too very, very rarely see snow, though a little more than folk in other parts of Australia. Thanks for sharing those beautful, life-filled pictures!
These are such great pix and memories! I of course didn't check your blog yesterday, so thought it was funny we used the same pic of Dad back-to-back. I love that shot!
Your note arrived yesterday--thanks. Want to chat this afternoon?

I agree with Michelle. Snow is nice to have, but when it gets too deep, then I wish I had your weather.
Now if I could just FedEx you some of our snow . . .
Anna
What fun pictures! I love snow, although it's rather rare here in the sunny south!
Oh what beautiful pictures. We have already had a LOT of snow here, but I still love it.
These are all just gorgeous. The first picture is very dreamy-like.
Oh, I love the snow!! I wish you could have brought some here!!
