This recipe is from the Farm Chicks blog - there is a video link here where you can watch them making these! These were so delicious - I cannot wait to make them again!
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oats
2 tsp. baking powder
Mix together and cut in 10 T. cold butter
Add: 1/3 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. maple syrup (I used homemade)
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (I accidentally left these out - too distracted I guess, but they were still delicious!)
* You can add a little bit more liquid if the dough is too dry.
Turn dough out onto a counter or silicone baking mat. (I love these for kneading because they can go right into the dishwasher!) Pat down to 1" thick circle. Cut into eight wedges and place on baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes. ** I cut mine out with a maple leaf shaped cookie cutter just to add to the Fall flavor!
Glaze:
1 T. melted butter
2 T. maple syrup
1 T. cream
1 c. powdered sugar
Whisk until smooth and drizzle over scones. I had to add more cream to make this drizzle, it was initially thicker and would have been good to frost the scones.

Wow, Monica, those look delicious! I love that you made them in leaf shapes, and that icing drizzle really "tops them off"!
