Martha's idea for Tree Place Cards is just the kind of idea I love!You can get the ends of Christmas trees that have been trimmed free at Lowe's. When you go to get some free greens, scoop up a few of the little slices of wood as well.
Now, pull off all the spindly branches or twigs and any needles. Bake in a 350 oven on a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil for about 30-45 minutes. It will harden the sap so they are not sticky and will give your home a delicious smell!
After creating a small hole in the center, just hot glue on the "tree" and star!

Nice idea! Looks like you've been very busy! I haven't done too much, but I'm brewing some nice homemade vanilla extract, and I want to do a nice tree skirt made with the kiddos hands!! :0)
