After a several week break from participating in Works-for-Me Wednesday, I thought I'd join in again this week.
My husband brought me the most beautiful roses last night when he got home from work, and as we unwrapped them, we noticed that one of them was broken off of its stem. So, here is what I did to rescue the poor rose - just place in a canning jar with water and enjoy! I certainly didn't want it to just hang there and die ~ Works for Me!

What a great idea!! I usually just leave my stemless flowers on the counter to dry then after awhile I get tired off working around them so they get tossed! LOL!! Yeah..I know I could have moved them to another counter but that would've been too easy!!

What a beautiful way to display stemless flowers. And what a lucky girl to get flowers!
That's a great idea... and how sweet is your baby in the post before? SO beautiful!
How pretty.
Beautiful, now you can place it in different places in your house!!

that is lovely! and God bless the husband for bringing them!
Oh, that looks really pretty! It reminds me of those globes with roses in them you used to see years ago--only yours is more charming and original!
That look so pretty! When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!
