Love your slow days. Your simplify signs reminds me of a quote by Raymond Moore... "Keep it simple sweetheart."

Hello Monica,
what lovely time with your parents. How do you keep your children busy while visiting your parents?
Thank you

Hi Agnes, Mostly simple homey things shown in this post! But we have tried to let them pick things they want to do and then incorporate those into our week. For example, last week we asked what they would like to do and Samuel said mini golf, one of the girls mentioned a museum and another chose a larger outing. We've done two of these already and hoping to do the other tomorrow. They also went to summer camp for a whole week! Other ideas are library, Barnes and Noble to look at books, thrift store, etc. we just try to involve them in all the things we need and want to do and then things they want to do also.

Beautiful and peaceful pictures. We had dinner outside and I thought of you and your lovely but simple picnics. There is nothing I love more that eating outside. Now that summer is in full swing here I am going to bring back our once a week slow day and blog about it. I feel if I blog about it I make sure it happens.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Great pictures! My, but your mom's iris are profuse this year. Also beautiful peonies and hydrangeas! And you always display them so beautifully. Enjoy the rest of your visit! Hope the kiddos had a good time at camp this week! Love to ALL, Grandma/Nana (& Mom) :)
