Camp Cozy: Thanksgiving Breakfast

You already know how much I love to set a cute table! And a holiday just gives me an opportunity to feed that side of myself and share it with those I love.

Back when I had little bitties and nap times, I would have my decor planned and made days and weeks in advance - those days are definitely gone, but I still made time to do a little crafting and pull together a cute table!

I've had the thermoses on my table since the plaid outdoor dinner and have enjoyed them so much - and the theme that came to mind was campy.

Originally I was thinking maybe breakfast on the porch - but it was too damp and chilly to enjoy that - so cozying up inside was just right! We had our usual: pumpkin pancakes with maple syrup and sugared pecans and sausage on the side.

Last year I ran out of time and motivation to keep the maple leaf shaped pancake tradition so I was happy to bring it back this year and Rachel helped!

Place cards were simply sticks gathered from the yard with little name banners glued on. Fabric scraps and alphabet stamps made quick cute name flags.

The pennants were sort of a last minute idea - I'm sure there are tutorials out there but I did not take time to look one up - just made it up as I went along. I'll show you how I did it in another post. Everything else was either gathered from the yard or shopped from the house!

This little bunting was fun to make too! Two sticks from the yard and a few fabric scraps sewn together - simple!
